I first met this family of four in the spring 2014 when cherry blossoms are blooming. We captured the pregnancy at Deer Lake. Soon after the little precious J arrived. He was tiny and his big sister was still a baby.

When they all came back to capture J’s 6-month milestones, not only he has grown a lot but so has his sister. J was sitting and his baby roll was way too cute.

J took his sweet time before he started to walk. With the mom going back to work, the 1-year session happened a few months after he turned 1. He was on the move and he was fast. Capturing him standing, walking and even running was precious.

I also saw the bonding between J and his sister has grown in a year very noticeably. I can see how much fun they will have together year after year.

How incredible is it to capture all these precious moments of a baby’s 1st year? Seeing and photographing the family a few times a year makes me feel I am part of their memorable life journey. I am so lucky to do what I do.
