I photographed Ioana’s maternity session early march. Then in May, she brought in Daniel, the newborn baby boy to my studio. Daniel was prematurely born and spent his first weeks in the hospital. Even so, he was preciously tiny when I photographed him.

What a sweet baby he is! I loved every minute of photographing him and I am so glad I got beautiful family portraits despite the older sister’s absolute denial to the photo shoot.

This session was very special because Ioana’s family lives in Fort Nelson in Norther BC and had me to photograph her baby before they go back home. I was honoured to photograph this beautiful family and I hope these images give the precious memory of Daniel’s first days in Vancouver.
