I was so excited when I met Summer’s family for her maternity session. She has three beautiful kids and was expecting the forth one. As I met those three before, they knew who I am when they come to my home studio for their little sister’s newborn session. The oldest sister was the calmest one, of course, and the youngest brother was the most active one. And the middle brother was somewhere between. With a big family, I plan the session out quite in details. Getting the great sibling image is a must and I have better chance to get it sooner than later. Then the family photo is the next. Then kids are free – their job is done. Thanks to the nanny who was able to take care of the three while the session continued.
Photographing a bigger family is more challenging but also more rewarding as the parents know how challenging my job could be to get the great images that hope for. After the session this is what Summer said about my service:
“We worked with Rachel when we were expecting our 4th child. She did a maternity session (with the whole family) and a newborn session (also with the whole family). It was such a pleasure to work with Rachel – she was professional, creative and fun. And the images she captured are beautiful. We are so looking forward to enjoying these photos for years to come!”

Here are some of the images I’d like to share from the session.
