I’d like to be up-to-date with my blog posts but it seems I photograph babies, moms-to-be, and families more than I can post. One upside of being late with posting is that I get to revisit these little angels a couple of months later. 🙂
I photographed this baby boy at his home in Kits. Yes, I do photograph on location. I bring some props with me. The access to props is somewhat limited but I bring plenty. And there were two more props available at his home this time. His mom wanted him on his dad’s surfing board, and on her saddle.
Things don’t always go as planned, especially with a baby. He didn’t want to sleep for a while (for the first two hours) but started to get tired and fell asleep eventually. Well, all I had at that point was about 1.5 hours. I put him on the surfing board – the first time in the early part of the session didn’t work but the second time worked beautifully. YES! We didn’t get to use the saddle, though, which I’d have loved to. But sometimes I can’t have it all.
I ended up with lots of beautiful images of him and a happy client, which is the most important thing at the end.
