Are you just starting in newborn photography or looking to strengthen your foundational skills? This workshop is perfect for photographers who are either exploring newborn photography or have less than two years of experience.
With two newborn models, this training will help you focus on mastering essential wrapping and posing techniques.
What We’ll Cover:
- Various wrapping techniques
- Propping with baskets for creative setups
- Classic beanbag poses for timeless looks
- Posing with parents and siblings to capture family connections
- Mastering lighting and angles for professional results
- Effective soothing techniques for newborns
- Post-processing and editing tips to enhance your final images
Workshop Schedule:
9:00 am – Greeting & Introduction
- Meet and greet with fellow participants
- Prep for the first model: camera settings, lighting setup, and session preparation
10:00 am – First Newborn Model (No Sibling)
- Hands-on practice: wrapping, posing, and propping techniques
12:00 am – Lunch & Q&A (Lunch provided)
- Enjoy a meal while addressing your questions and sharing insights
1:00 am – Second Newborn Model with a Sibling
- Learn sibling and parent posing techniques in addition to newborn setups
3:30 pm – Post-Processing
- Editing session: Tips and techniques to enhance your newborn photos
4:30 pm – Final Q&A
- Wrap-up session to ensure all your questions are answered
Students must bring a DSLR camera (fully charged), at least one lens (35mm, 50mm, or 24-70mm), and a memory card. All participants will have the opportunity to take photos for their portfolio. You can also take notes, pictures, and videos to review the workshop later.
